Machinista Migrating Festival & Machinista Glasgow 2004
An offline festival each year in a different host city showcases key entries to the online exhibition. Selected participants are commissioned to travel and present/ exhibit/ install/ perform to wide audiences.
A full programme provides an opportunity for practitioners to exchange ideas face to face and share the fruits of their endeavours with the general public.
Educational events inform and broaden the audience for both the online and offline festivals.
Last year offline events took place in Moscow and Perm City (Urals).
Glasgow, Scotland is the host city for Machinista 2004 with some additional events in Perm, Russia.
We are welcoming proposals for hosting Machinista 2005.
